About the Role
Develop insurance sales systems for sales representatives, collaborating with business departments to define and optimize business processes. Maintain knowledge of product capabilities, limitations, and workflows, and support process automation and standardization. Identify new needs, define system requirements, and explore new technologies to align with company strategy. Coordinate system development and maintenance, ensuring smooth squad operations, including release preparation and incident management. Support developers in root cause analysis and problem-solving, and collaborate with testing teams to promote test automation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business departments to define and optimize business processes.
- Maintain knowledge of business processes, workflows, and use cases for assigned products.
- Understand core capabilities, functions, and limitations of assigned products.
- Support process automation and standardization.
- Identify new needs and define business and system requirements.
- Explore new technologies and functions, evaluating and proposing alignment with company strategy.
- Coordinate system development and maintenance to ensure smooth squad operations.
- Prepare for releases, including submitting documentation for approval and conducting reviews.
- Perform night or early morning release operations.
- Act as a single point of contact for business, prioritizing incidents and supporting developers in root cause analysis and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with test teams to promote test automation.
Requirements
- Insurance business knowledge.
- Over 3 years of development experience.
- Experience in stakeholder negotiation (including users), specification research/consideration, and creation of requirement definition documents.
- Experience in creating, executing, and reporting on User Acceptance Test (UAT) validation plans.
- Project management experience.
- Team management experience.
