About the Role

Brunswick is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their Finance team. This role involves managing invoices, payments, expenses, and supplier relationships in a fast-paced, international business environment. The position offers the opportunity to build relationships and contribute to wider projects beyond core AP processes.

Responsibilities

  • Process invoices accurately and on time, with a minimum of 30 invoices posted per day
  • Respond to AP mailbox queries within 24 hours
  • Review and post pending items daily, ensuring they are cleared within 48 hours
  • Prepare BACS payments every two weeks
  • Manage, review, and post staff expense claims
  • Set up and verify supplier and staff bank details in line with company policy
  • Upload batch journals
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Prepare and set up ad hoc payments in the bank on a weekly basis
  • Respond to ad hoc queries and carry out analysis as required
  • Support and review the apprentice’s workload and development

Requirements

  • Strong Accounts Payable processing experience, ideally within a multi-currency, multi-entity environment
  • A highly personable and collaborative business partner who can build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail
