About the Role
Wisch Engineering GmbH is seeking a skilled Locksmith/Metalworker to join their production team in Berlin-Spandau. This role offers a secure and varied job with opportunities for development in a successful, medium-sized metal company serving clients across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, align, and ensure the fit of individual parts.
- Perform MAG (135) and TIG (141) welding on prepared constructions, focusing on butt and fillet welds up to 15 mm.
- Refine welds and workpieces, deburr, and conduct dimensional and visual inspections.
- Check dimensional accuracy, angles, and geometries, and perform visual weld inspections.
- Conduct general locksmith tasks and preparation measures for smooth workflow.
- Adhere to all occupational safety and security regulations.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a locksmith, metalworker, construction mechanic, or in a comparable metalworking trade.
- Solid, relevant professional experience in welding/locksmith work.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings.
- Practical expertise in MAG and TIG welding.
- Good German language skills.
- Strong manual dexterity and high quality awareness.
- Willingness to work in a regular 2-shift system (early/late shift) and occasional flexibility for overtime.
