About the Role
This role is an opportunity for an associate's next step towards management. You will gain comprehensive knowledge of warehouse receiving/unloading or loading operations, working independently or in teams with minimal supervision. Emphasis is placed on positive and friendly interaction with customer staff and delivery personnel. You will oversee a specific work area to ensure consistent workflow and meet customer expectations, and handle the movement of pallets and cases using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-shift meetings
- Lead stretching exercises before each shift
- Perform safety observations
- Support management initiatives
- Provide coaching and training to team members
- Communicate effectively with leadership
- Perform all yard marshalling duties
Requirements
- High-energy individual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to perform fast-paced and physical work
- Ability to lift and carry 25-75lbs
- Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience preferred, but training is available
