About the Role
This role is an opportunity for associates to advance into management. You will gain experience in all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, unloading, and loading. Emphasis is placed on positive customer interaction and maintaining workflow to meet expectations. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and moving materials by hand.
Responsibilities
- Participate in pre-shift meetings.
- Engage in stretching exercises before each shift.
- Conduct safety observations.
- Support management.
- Provide coaching.
- Conduct training.
- Communicate with leadership.
- Perform yard marshalling duties.
- Oversee a specified area to maintain workflow and meet customer expectations.
- Handle the movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles using a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.
Requirements
- High-energy individual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform fast-paced and physical work.
- Ability to lift and carry 25-75lbs.
- Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
