About the Role
As a Sales Assistant in the Freshness department, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, advising them on our frozen goods product range.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers from the gastronomy sector as a competent contact person, assisting with all questions and requests regarding the frozen goods product range.
- Effectively advise customers to encourage purchases.
- Ensure well-stocked and organized shelves and freezers, even in colder environments.
- Present products attractively to customers and implement promotional measures.
- Ensure the availability of fresh, high-quality products by adhering to legal and regulatory quality assurance standards (e.g., HACCP, expiration date control).
Requirements
- Ideally, possess completed vocational training in retail or gastronomy (e.g., Chef, Restaurant Specialist, Wholesale and Retail Salesperson).
- Open to career changers with professional onboarding provided.
- Preferably have experience in the food retail sector and a willingness to continuously expand knowledge.
- Demonstrate customer-oriented behavior and enthusiasm for retail.
- Willingness to work a two-shift system.
