This role offers a chance to define a foundational product area at Stripe, translating user and product needs into durable platform primitives. It combines high-level strategy with hands-on product execution, addressing complex financial infrastructure questions to enable new business models and bring offline payments online.
Responsibilities
- Develop and advance a compelling product vision for Connect
- Devise the strategy for high-impact initiatives serving modern marketplaces and software platforms
- Translate product strategy and customer needs into clear product requirements
- Oversee execution across the teams involved in delivering these initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering, design, analytics, marketing, sales, and customer-facing teams
- Meet with customers to understand their needs and gather feedback
- Present product plans to Stripe’s leadership team and incorporate feedback
Requirements
- More than three years of product management experience
- A computer science background or equivalent experience
- Strong product judgment
- The ability to lead products that require coordination across multiple teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Persistence and resourcefulness in driving successful outcomes for products and teams
