About the Role
Regent College London is seeking an experienced and passionate Associate Lecturer in Nutrition to join our growing academic team. This role involves delivering dynamic Nutrition focused teaching both in person, empowering students to thrive academically and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and delivering engaging teaching across a range of Nutrition based modules.
- Supporting students both in person and online.
- Contributing to assessment and quality assurance.
- Involvement in scholarship and continuous curriculum improvement.
- Delivering lectures, seminars, and workshops aligned to module specifications.
- Updating and maintaining engaging digital learning content via VLE and MS Teams.
- Supporting student assessment and providing timely, constructive feedback.
- Advising students on academic and pastoral matters, referring where appropriate.
- Participating in moderation, standardisation, and academic quality assurance.
- Contributing to curriculum development and enhancement of the student experience.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Nutrition or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience teaching Nutrition topics in a UK higher education setting.
- Excellent communication and digital teaching skills.
- Ability to develop innovative learning materials and manage hybrid delivery.
- Commitment to inclusivity and student centred learning.
- Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one.
- PhD in Nutrition or equivalent industry experience.
- Fellowship of Advance HE (or eligibility).
- Experience with Nutrition research, enterprise activity, or professional networks.
- Successful applicants will be required to complete pre-employment checks, including a criminal records check, two references, ID and Right to Work verification, and education confirmation.
