About the Role
POLITICO Deutschland is seeking an Editor to build and continuously develop a new German-language PRO Finance newsletter. We believe in the future of journalism as a business model and invest in forward-thinking technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop a daily PRO newsletter with the team and continuously shape its content and strategic development.
- Monitor relevant developments in politics, regulation, and financial markets, ensuring fast, precise, and target-group-oriented reporting.
- Take responsibility for topic planning, set editorial priorities, and ensure the highest journalistic quality through careful editing.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from various departments to integrate relevant perspectives and develop exclusive content.
Requirements
- Several years of in-depth experience in financial journalism and understanding the requirements of a professional specialist audience.
- Proficiency in digital editorial systems, publishing platforms, and newsletter tools.
- A strong network within the financial industry.
- Ideally, experience in moderation.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
