About the Role
This role owns the developer's journey from first API call to production and scale, ensuring a seamless integration experience for developers using Xendit's payment infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for the developer experience, including integration flow, SDKs, documentation, sandbox, and error handling.
- Drive developer activation and retention metrics, from sign-up to first production transaction.
- Conduct discovery grounded in developer behavior through integration analytics, support signals, and direct research.
- Partner with Engineering on API design and developer experience standards, and prioritize developer experience debt.
- Communicate trade-offs to senior stakeholders and translate platform changes into a coherent developer-facing experience.
Requirements
- Product management experience with API, platform, or developer-facing products.
- Owned products where developers are the primary user.
- Genuine technical fluency, including understanding of schemas, authentication, and webhooks.
- Demonstrated empathy for developer workflows and understanding of common developer challenges.
- A background as a developer, or experience building SDKs, documentation, or developer experience products is a strong plus.
- Payments or fintech experience is a strong plus.
