About the Role
As a Technical Draftsperson, you will be responsible for the structure, quality, and further development of our technical detail database. You will ensure that technical solutions are standardized, documented, and usable for digital planning and automation processes, as well as assembly, production, and tendering. You will work at a future-oriented interface between construction system development, digitalization, and serial production. Against the backdrop of ongoing production and construction projects, you will contribute to systematically capturing and integrating findings – for the continuous optimization of our product.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance, administration, and further development of the central detail database
- Creation, structuring, and quality assurance of technical details and construction drawings
- Definition and further development of drawing and documentation standards
- Ensuring consistency, traceability, and version management within the detail libraries
- Coordination and integration of requirements from automation processes into detail standards and data structures
- Analysis of recurring quality deviations and transfer of findings into standardized details, drawing standards, and databases
- Tracking the implementation of decided improvement measures in the relevant drawing and documentation standards
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction technology, technical drafting, or a comparable field
- Experience in technical planning and detail development of building constructions
- Advanced AutoCAD 2D skills
- Ability to document technical information comprehensibly and consistently apply standards
- Good communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration with different specialist departments
- Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
- Experience with dynamic blocks, block libraries, and attribute programming in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of layer, block, and drawing standards as well as XREF structures
- Experience with AutoCAD automations, e.g., through AutoLISP, VBA, or comparable solutions
- Knowledge in data extraction and further processing of drawing data, especially with Excel
