About the Role
This role involves undertaking Mental Health Act assessments and statutory interventions, promoting service user rights, wellbeing, and independence through high-quality social work practice within a supportive and experienced AMHP team.
Responsibilities
- Undertake Mental Health Act assessments and associated statutory duties
- Manage complex and high-risk assessments in line with relevant legislation
- Promote service user choice, independence and person-centred practice
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard vulnerable adults
Requirements
- AMHP qualification
- Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
- Experience working as an AMHP within the last 5 years
- Up-to-date AMHP training and a strong understanding of relevant legislation
