About the Role
Assala Energy is seeking specialist process engineering consultancy services to support its Projects portfolio in Gabon. The engagement will focus on delivering process engineering studies, technical assessments, design deliverables, and recommendations for field development and asset optimization activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide process engineering services including generation and technical evaluation of field development concepts.
- Prepare process engineering studies and assessments to support concept selection and project maturation.
- Develop process design deliverables across conceptual, FEED, and detailed design phases.
- Prepare, review, and issue process engineering documentation, calculations, reports, and technical specifications.
- Provide technical reviews and recommendations relating to vendor and contractor deliverables.
- Participate in multidisciplinary technical reviews to ensure integration of process engineering requirements.
- Provide technical input supporting project cost estimates, schedules, and execution planning.
- Prepare and present technical findings, engineering studies, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Identify and compile final process engineering documentation for project close-out and handover.
- Provide process engineering consultancy services to identify and support implementation of opportunities to enhance mature producing asset performance.
- Conduct technical reviews of existing facilities, process systems, and operational performance.
- Identify, assess, and rank opportunities to improve production efficiency, throughput, reliability, and crude export performance.
- Prepare technical studies and engineering deliverables supporting recommended optimisation opportunities.
- Provide technical support throughout the development and implementation of selected optimisation solutions.
- Develop process engineering documentation necessary to progress projects through assurance and approval stages.
- Engage technically with operational and project stakeholders to facilitate understanding and implementation of proposed solutions.
Requirements
- Demonstrate capability to deliver specialist process engineering expertise for onshore and offshore oil and gas projects.
- Demonstrate capability in development and evaluation of field development concepts, including late-life asset optimization.
- Demonstrate capability in delivery of process engineering studies, technical assessments, and recommendations for oil and gas processing facilities.
- Demonstrate capability in production of engineering deliverables, reports, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Demonstrate application of industry-recognised engineering methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Demonstrate utilisation of appropriate engineering and process simulation software, including Unisim, Flare System Analyser, and Flaresim.
- Demonstrate effective engagement with project stakeholders to communicate findings and present recommendations.
- Demonstrate delivery of services with a focus on innovation, technical quality, safety, and achievement of agreed milestones.
