About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Business Development Manager (m/f/d) to prospect small to medium customers on our biggest market so far, the DACH market at Pliant. The ideal candidate will focus on establishing new strong relationships in the fintech space as well as understanding their needs, and collaborating with the Customer Success team to drive long-term growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct discovery calls, demos, and closing of inbound partner leads
- Generate interest via outbound prospecting to fill your pipeline
- Take ownership and communicate skilfully to contact potential customers and build a strong customer pipeline
- Understand contact's needs and problems, ask the right questions and listen to them
- Identify how Pliant can deliver the most value to customers
Requirements
- 2-4 years previous work experience in the banking or financial services industry in a customer facing role
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Strong willingness to learn and develop your career in a fast paced Fintech environment
- Speak German fluently
- Berlin based ideally
