About the Role

This role is responsible for delivering a best-in-class user experience for employees, guests, and all office users in Australia. It drives service improvement by managing service providers and internal teams, operating a data-driven and digitally enabled function for integrated facilities management.

Responsibilities

Ensuring all users of the workspace have a best-in-class experience.
Delivering the expected user-experience through management of internal teams and/or contract management of outsourced Workplace suppliers.
Ensuring standards and KPIs are met for all properties within the remit, including carrying out audits.
Budget setting, cost approval, reforecasting, and budget management.
Interfacing with other Arcadis functions (e.g., SHEQ) to ensure Workplace Health and Safety and Sustainability responsibilities are met.
Ensuring Workplace standards are reviewed and updated.
Coordinating Workplace communications and Intranet sites.
Supporting workplace projects.
Providing leadership to team members and contractors delivering the Workplace service.
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, codes of practice, Arcadis standards, and operational workplace services.
Acting as the escalation point for all country-related Workplace issues.
Managing the supply chain to deliver consistent standards of service, ensuring value for money, transparency, and a partnership approach.
Managing the financial performance of the country Workplace budget, including budget setting and reporting.
Participating as a key member of wider regional and global Workplace teams.
Deputizing for the Regional Workplace Operations Manager as required.

Requirements

Significant experience working in a similar environment with a portfolio size of 10 offices.
Experience delivering high-quality user experience in flagship properties.
Experience leading an outsourced Workplace service model.
Financial acumen including experience managing budgets in excess of $0.5m, budget setting, reporting, and variance management.
Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Significant experience of FM/Workplace or similar, multi-site customer-facing environments.
Experience in managing outsourced Workplace service contracts.
Sound knowledge of CAFM systems used in the delivery of Workplace services.
Ability to work in a global organization and a matrix environment.
Willing to undertake travel within country and occasionally beyond as required.
Ability to prioritise and manage a complex workload.
A systematic approach to problem solving and decision making.
