About the Role
Join NEXTON as a Data Scientist / AI Engineer in Paris. You will be part of a team working with a major banking client, focusing on the design, development, and industrialization of advanced AI solutions like Agentic AI and RAG, as well as complex predictive models for strategic business challenges in risk, fraud, marketing, and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Design robust and secure RAG architectures.
- Build multi-agent workflows for complex processes.
- Orchestrate LLMs (Azure OpenAI, open-source models) with Function Calling and reasoning capabilities.
- Develop reusable components as APIs (FastAPI) and Cloud services.
- Define technical standards and deploy MLOps/LLMOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Design and maintain ML models (supervised, XGBoost, LightGBM).
- Perform exploratory data analysis.
- Ensure explainability (SHAP, LIME) and responsibility of algorithms.
- Implement GenAI system observability.
- Monitor model and RAG drift.
- Measure generated response quality using advanced evaluation frameworks (RAGAS, LLM-as-a-Judge).
Requirements
- 6 to 9 years of experience as a Data Scientist.
- Demonstrated ability to industrialize complex AI products and maintain them in large-scale operational conditions.
- Strong spirit of innovation and active monitoring of rapid advancements in Generative AI and Agentic AI.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for simplifying AI topics and collaborating effectively with business, IT, and product teams.
