About the Role
Lead children in fun and educational soccer activities while ensuring safety. This role is ideal for individuals interested in early childhood education or child development, offering on-the-job training and a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Lead children in fun and educational activities.
- Ensure safety for all participants.
- Use individual attention to ensure every child has success.
- Utilize a non-competitive approach to ensure classes are fun and stress-free.
- Employ positive reinforcement to encourage children and celebrate success.
- Attend regular trainings.
- Follow the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual.
- Tailor lessons to specific developmental levels.
- Manage groups of children and adults.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper or leader).
- Experience working with children 5 years and under.
- Expressive, charismatic, and nurturing personality.
- Responsible, reliable, punctual, dedicated, and confident.
- High energy.
- Comfort with managing groups of children and adults.
- Ability to follow Super Soccer Stars curriculum.
- Experience working with non-neurotypical children is a plus.
- Must be available on weekdays between 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.
- Must be available at least one weekend morning from 8:30 AM–2:00 PM.
- Punctual, willing to learn and accept feedback.
- Must be motivated, energetic, patient, and attentive.
- Hands-on, dynamic, and outgoing.
- Must have reliable means of transportation.
- Access to a vehicle is preferred.
