About the Role
Keywords Studios is seeking motivated and flexible Game Testers with a passion for video games. This role involves verifying linguistic accuracy, checking for errors, and identifying bugs in in-game text. While English and Japanese are the office working languages, proficiency in Japanese is not required but can be a benefit.
Responsibilities
- Verify the linguistic accuracy of in-game text and check for typographical, grammatical, and punctuation errors.
- Verify the cosmetic integrity of in-game text and ensure correct display.
- Identify, isolate, and document bugs clearly and concisely using provided tools and databases.
- Verify bug fixes and their correct implementation.
- Follow documented processes throughout the testing phase.
- Maintain a high level of focus and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Excellent spelling and grammar in Italian.
- Deep understanding of local cultural and linguistic nuances.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- High-level of written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office Business application skills.
- Must currently reside in Tokyo and be able to work legally in Japan.
- Must be able to communicate in English or Japanese.
- Provide visa type and expiration date (Tourist visas will not be considered).
- Provide general availability.
