About the Role

Marsh is seeking a driven, commercially minded individual to join their Digital Risk Consulting team. This role involves identifying new commercial opportunities, engaging with stakeholders and clients, presenting digital risk propositions, and driving opportunities through the sales pipeline. It combines relationship management, sales strategy, client engagement, and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Identify target opportunities within key client segments using claims data, renewal data, and portfolio analytics.
  • Proactively reach out to relationship owners with a commercial rationale and value proposition.
  • Qualify and prioritize opportunities, maintaining an accurate pipeline.
  • Communicate the value of technology partnership propositions to internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and lead internal briefing meetings.
  • Develop and maintain sales enablement materials.
  • Attend and contribute to client meetings, presenting propositions.
  • Follow up on meetings with structured next steps to drive opportunities to close.
  • Collaborate with Client Executives, broking colleagues, and technology partners.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activity, meeting outcomes, pipeline status, and deal progression.
  • Provide regular reporting on sales activity and commercial performance.
  • Identify patterns and feedback loops to improve targeting, messaging, or proposition design.

Requirements

  • Proven sales or business development experience, ideally in professional services, insurance, or technology.
  • Confident presenter with the ability to articulate complex propositions clearly and compellingly.
  • Proactive self-starter with the drive to generate and pursue opportunities independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Collaborative team player who builds effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
