About the Role
Treatwell is seeking a Financial Accountant to join the Group Finance team, supporting daily activities and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This role offers the opportunity to work in an international department within a fast-growing company, contributing to financial activities and developing within a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the completion of group consolidated statutory financial statements under IFRS, including disclosure notes.
- Assist with the year-end audit process, liaising with the audit team and preparing documentation.
- Assist with the completion of statutory accounts for the wider group under local GAAP, including trial balances, statutory adjustments, and meeting filing deadlines.
- Assist with the completion of tax returns for the group, ensuring all filing deadlines are met.
- Assist with compliance and reporting, including VAT returns and investor reporting.
- Assist with the month-end process by completing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Develop and maintain IFRS financial accounting/reporting policies group-wide, assisting with the rollout of changes.
- Collaborate with the wider finance team on non-business as usual project work.
- Perform additional ad-hoc activities as required.
Requirements
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CA (or equivalent).
- Industry experience or Top 20 practice background.
- Excellent technical knowledge of IFRS.
- Extensive experience of preparing or auditing financial statements under IFRS.
- Bright, ambitious, and conscientious with good attention to detail and high standards.
- Highly motivated, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to solve problems logically and set out workpapers clearly and concisely.
- Collaborative approach and ability to build strong relationships with senior commercial, financial, and legal partners.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
