About the Role

As a Technical Product Owner (m/w/d), you will shape the digitalization of administration and contribute innovative ideas within an agile work environment. You will focus on technically and functionally complex issues, guiding requirements gathering, implementation, release, and further development of a software application in collaboration with your team and clients. You will help drive the digital transformation in federal, state, and local governments by working on a project to expand a communication and collaboration platform.

Responsibilities

Act as a passionate liaison and translator, combining technological understanding with an awareness of customer and team needs.
Develop the product backlog with primarily technical content, ongoing sprint goals, and releases in collaboration with the team and clients.
Analyze new requirements and derive user stories for Java, Spring Boot, and React-based components.
Serve as a point of contact for clients, demonstrating strong communication skills.
Inform about current developments and maintain constant communication with clients, Scrum Masters, other Product Owners, and developers.
Share responsibility with the team for the continuous quality assurance and delivery of new software components.

Requirements

Completed degree or comparable technical education.
Experience in software development, as a Technical Consultant, or as a Product Owner, preferably in agile software development projects.
Sound knowledge in requirements analysis and functional/technical conception of software systems.
Enthusiasm for the digitalization of administration and the use of modern technologies in the public sector.
Enthusiasm for working on complex topics in an interdisciplinary environment and analytical thinking.
High understanding of quality and enjoyment of exchange with internal and external stakeholders.
Clear, understandable, and proactive communication.
Willingness to travel and very good German language skills (C2 or native).
