About the Role
BGIS is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in the next phase of our UK growth journey. This is a rare opportunity to influence strategy and performance at the highest level of the organisation, shaping the financial strategy of the UK business and contributing directly to growth ambitions.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the UK finance function.
- Drive business planning, forecasting and performance management.
- Support operational and commercial decision-making through robust financial insight.
- Enhance cash generation, working capital and financial controls.
- Develop finance capability and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Build scalable processes and governance to support future growth.
- Partner closely with the President, UK & Europe and Global Finance Leadership.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven track record in senior financial leadership within a complex, growth-oriented organisation.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.
- Comfortable operating at executive and board level.
- Experience within facilities management, engineering services, construction services, or other contract-led service environments is highly desirable.
- Exposure to global reporting structures and organisations experiencing significant growth is advantageous.
