About the Role

WEX is seeking an early-career Product Manager to help build and scale next-generation payments solutions. This role focuses on bringing new products to market, defining test-and-learn strategies, and owning features end-to-end within the North American Mobility (NAM) Product Team. The ideal candidate is curious, execution-driven, and eager to leverage AI across the product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Own product features and adoption end-to-end, supporting new payments capabilities from concept through launch and iteration.
  • Design and execute test-and-learn plans to validate customer demand, usage, and product-market fit.
  • Conduct customer interviews, participate in ride-alongs, and synthesize insights to inform product decisions.
  • Analyze customer behavior using data, research, and field insights to identify drop-off points and reasons.
  • Translate customer problems into clear, actionable product requirements.
  • Define platform priorities to simplify, standardize, and scale shared capabilities.
  • Build for reuse by defining APIs, services, integration patterns, and shared capabilities.
  • Translate technical constraints into product decisions, communicating them to stakeholders.
  • Leverage AI tools across the product lifecycle to accelerate research, prototyping, analysis, and productivity.
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, design, data, sales, marketing, and servicing.
  • Track and measure success using key metrics like adoption and usage to prove product-market fit.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, consulting, startups, or a related field.
  • Strong curiosity and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to break down ambiguous problems into clear steps and actions.
  • High empathy and experience or strong interest in customer research and interviewing.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Actively use AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, copilots, prototyping tools) in daily work.
  • Build and refine workflows, prompts, and lightweight automations using AI.
  • Continuously experiment with how AI can improve product discovery, delivery, and decision-making.
  • Demonstrate self-driven learning, side projects, or independent experimentation with AI tools if prior professional experience is limited.
