Responsibilities
- Lead the technology department, comprising teams such as operations and building services, and the in-house workshop.
- Ensure the regular operation of building and operational technology and proper functionality, especially of the in-house ISO 4 semiconductor cleanroom.
- Identify maintenance and repair needs, create service descriptions, and solicit bids in compliance with procurement regulations.
- Plan the deployment of craftspeople, coordinate and prioritize tasks, and perform final inspections.
- Monitor compliance with maintenance cycles and required inspections, and tender maintenance contracts.
- Apply for, execute, and monitor projects, including schedule and budget control.
- Collaborate with institute and administrative management, all departments, authorities, architects, and specialist planners, as well as the construction department of the Fraunhofer headquarters.
- Prepare energy consumption data, document energy-saving measures, and plan further savings for regular energy audits.
- Document all work on technical systems and project data according to the specified documentation system.
