About the Role

Sales Operations is a sales support department responsible for optimizing and digitizing business processes, managing BPO and call center operations, and handling reporting and data validation. The team aims to improve sales efficiency and customer satisfaction through system operations, business improvement, data analysis, and AI/automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Sales Data Enablement team, overseeing daily operations, member development, and data validation.
  • Ensure stable operation of daily tasks, member development, data quality improvement, and standardization and continuous improvement of operations, managing both internal staff and external vendors.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales data and reports to enable Sales, Marketing, and Finance departments to gain insights and take action.
  • Manage the entire process of collecting, processing, validating, and reporting sales performance data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, availability, and timely delivery.
  • Share insights on trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities identified from data with relevant departments to support business decisions and actions.
  • Improve processes that depend on specific individuals' experience or knowledge by establishing procedures, criteria, check methods, and backup systems for continuous team operation.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments, external vendors, and system personnel to plan, promote, and implement operational improvements using tools like Power Platform, AI, and automation.
  • Manage the business operations, progress, member development, evaluation, and feedback for the Data Operations team.
  • Oversee operations related to sales performance data, regular reports, data validation, and rebate data.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, availability, and delivery timelines through quality control measures.
  • Coordinate requirements with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other departments to provide data and reports for decision-making and business improvement.
  • Manage the operational quality, SLAs, progress, and issues of external vendors.
  • Standardize business processes, eliminate reliance on individual knowledge, and drive continuous improvement using Power Platform, AI, and automation tools.

Requirements

  • Experience as a people manager, including team management, member development, evaluation, and feedback.
  • Experience in managing and improving operations related to data management, reporting, or sales performance data.
  • Experience managing data accuracy, consistency, delivery timelines, and check processes.
  • Experience identifying trends, anomalies, or issues from data and supporting decision-making and business improvement.
  • Experience standardizing or improving business processes and operational rules.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple departments and external vendors to manage operations and resolve issues.
  • Management skills in team operations, member development, evaluation, and feedback.
  • Practical knowledge of data management, regular reporting, and data quality management.
  • Analytical and communication skills to identify trends and issues from data and explain them clearly to stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand end-to-end business processes and translate challenges and business requirements into data and report requirements.
  • Business management skills using KPIs, SLAs, delivery times, and error rates.
  • Practical knowledge of Excel and common data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Ability to engage multiple stakeholders to achieve consensus and drive business improvements.
  • Native-level Japanese proficiency.
  • Business-level English proficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (any major).
