About the Role
CDM Smith is seeking a Spring 2027 Co-Op student for an Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineering role to gain real-world experience on impactful projects. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, collaborate with peers, and witness the progression of engineering solutions from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
- Research and develop engineering solutions for real projects, including analysis, planning, reporting, and design.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, interns, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Create reports, presentations, maps, designs, and other project deliverables using software such as ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, and Excel.
- Participate in field activities to observe construction management and understand the project lifecycle.
- Develop technical and professional skills, expand professional networks, and learn from experienced engineers.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field is required.
