About the Role
We contribute broadly to society by anticipating the needs of professionals who support society and providing optimal solutions with innovative products and services that exceed expectations. In this position, you will lead the mechanical design and element technology development of ultra-small precision equipment such as the core insertion part, optical adapter, and Micro Magnetic Actuator of industrial endoscopes, contributing to the safety and efficiency of social infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing department to translate customer requirements into product specifications.
- Lead the proposal and execution of new product launches, coordinating with the manufacturing department on productivity.
- Engage in ultra-small precision composite mechanical design, including observation and illumination optical systems and imaging circuits, in collaboration with specialists in other fields such as optical engineers and EL imaging engineers.
- Design ultra-small actuators for Micro Magnetic Actuators.
- Perform mechanical design of the endoscope's bending mechanism and insertion part.
- Conduct environmental resistance design, including thermal design, drop impact, and waterproofing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Over 3 years of experience in the design and development of small precision equipment.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into quality function deployment and product specifications, and reflect them in design.
- Mechanical design skills.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD and drafting.
- Basic knowledge of the four fundamental mechanics.
- Basic knowledge of statistics for scientifically and logically analyzing evaluation results.
- Experience leading and promoting product development projects as a mechanical domain leader.
- Experience in launching downstream product development, such as production design.
- Skills in structural analysis, thermal simulation, and impact simulation.
- Skills in root cause analysis, such as FMEA and FTA.
