About the Role
Manage and develop existing and new products/services, owning customer and colleague journeys. Develop product strategy, drive change, and make key decisions throughout the product lifecycle to achieve outcomes for customers, colleagues, and the bank, ensuring compliance with SLAs, regulations, and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Develop customer-level strategies and solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the Product/Proposition team, guiding stakeholders on product application and journeys.
- Develop product propositions and/or service strategy, defining priorities and leading execution.
- Develop commercial and business models by understanding financial drivers of the P&L.
- Evaluate technical feasibility, legal compliance, and potential risks of new product development.
- Monitor market trends and analyze feedback from prototypes, user testing, and beta programs for product/process refinement.
- Manage comprehensive launch plans and technical deployments, including timelines, marketing, training, and communication.
- Monitor key metrics like adoption rates, usage patterns, customer satisfaction, and revenue generation.
- Advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with other functions/business divisions.
- Lead a team performing complex tasks, delivering work that impacts the business function.
- Set objectives, coach employees, appraise performance, and determine reward outcomes.
- Lead collaborative assignments and guide team members.
- Identify the need for inclusion of other specializations to complete assignments.
- Identify new directions for assignments/projects using cross-functional methodologies.
- Consult on complex issues and advise People Leaders on escalated issues.
- Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures.
- Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls.
- Perform work related to other areas, understanding coordination and contribution to organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with work areas for business-aligned support.
- Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources to solve problems creatively.
- Communicate complex information, including sensitive or difficult-to-communicate content.
- Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.

- Plan, deliver, and manage AI-driven products or features, focusing on roadmaps, prioritization, and execution.

- Build robust relationships and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
- Support product success and contribute to continuous improvement and the broader AI product agenda.
Requirements
- Proven experience in product ownership and end-to-end product management.
- Experience supporting product delivery from concept through implementation.
- Great planning, organizational, and project management skills.
- Experience using Jira to manage backlogs and maintain product roadmaps.
- Experience in sprint planning and agile delivery.
- Confident stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to clearly articulate plans, priorities, and progress to a range of audiences.
- Understanding or exposure to coding, Machine Learning, or AI concepts.
- Awareness of commercial considerations and how product decisions contribute to business value.
- Experience with risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology.
