About the Role
We are seeking a consultant or project manager to join T-Systems and contribute to complex public sector projects focused on the digitalization of federal and state administration. This role involves advising clients, managing projects from conception to implementation, and ensuring successful delivery.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on complex public sector projects, including the digitalization of federal and state administration.
- Advise clients on system integration and digitalization initiatives, including project leadership, requirements specification, and quality assurance.
- Apply established frameworks, using classic and agile methods for project analysis, planning, and execution.
- Manage projects, including controlling, financial management, budget, risk, change, claim, and escalation management.
- Prepare and calculate bids for public clients, considering contract and procurement law.
- Manage complex stakeholder landscapes, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality project delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of project experience in the public sector as a consultant or project manager in software development, integration, or digitalization projects for public clients at the federal or state level in Germany.
- Demonstrated expertise in consulting or project management, with potential certifications in modern software architectures, modeling languages, requirements engineering, quality management, or project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of public administration standards and methods, including legal foundations, V-Modell XT, SAGA, WiBe, UfAB, XÖV, BSI-Grundschutz, data protection, and FIM.
- Experience in project and contract management, including risk, change, claim, and escalation management, as well as project controlling and financial management.
- Experience in bid preparation and calculation for public administration projects, including public procurement and contract law.
- Native-level German language skills.
- Very good English language skills.
