About the Role

Microsoft Advertising is seeking two Product Managers, focusing on either Diagnostics or Keywords, to lead the development of next-generation advertiser intelligence experiences. These roles are crucial for enhancing advertiser success and driving platform growth through AI-powered solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate strategy and roadmap for Diagnostics Experiences or Keyword Intelligence, Recommendations, and Agentic Planning.
  • Define appropriate solutions (heuristic, agentic, model-driven) ensuring accuracy, explainability, and responsible AI principles.
  • Own end-to-end success metrics and optimize experience surfacing for maximum advertiser engagement and action.
  • Represent the product to customers, understand their needs, and champion them internally.
  • Navigate ambiguity, make prioritization decisions, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams (engineering, design, data science, etc.).
  • Lead go-to-market efforts with marketing and sales to ensure successful launches and measurable advertiser impact.
  • Investigate advertiser and campaign data to identify root causes of performance issues and define relevant checks and signals (Diagnostics focus).
  • Leverage AI, including agent reasoning, to check, explain, and fix issues (Diagnostics focus).
  • Develop understanding of keyword scenarios and apply AI to identify monetization and growth opportunities (Keywords focus).
  • Generate narratives to help advertisers and sales teams act on opportunities and power agentic planning experiences (Keywords focus).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management including experience developing digital advertising products, especially demand/buying side features such as optimization, targeting, bidding & budget and conversion tracking OR equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management including experience developing digital advertising products, especially demand/buying side features such as optimization, targeting, bidding & budget and conversion tracking OR equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: 3+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market.
  • Preferred: 5+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working directly with data (SQL/KQL or equivalent a plus).
  • Experience building AI-powered or agentic experiences (LLMs, agent frameworks, or recommendation/guidance systems).
  • Experience using customer insights and experimentation.
  • Experience collaborating across Design, Engineering, and Data Science to deliver customer-facing products.
