About the Role
JOLT is disrupting EV charging infrastructure and out-of-home advertising industries. We are building an AI-native engineering culture focused on agentic systems, automated workflows, and intelligent tooling. This role involves accelerating infrastructure development, taking ownership of systems across markets, charging networks, and commercial partnerships. It is for a lateral thinker who designs systems to automate manual processes and builds with ownership and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain AI-driven workflows that automate real business processes, including LLM integration, MCP servers, agentic pipelines, and automated ops tooling.
- Own technical execution end-to-end, guided by product direction.
- Own monitoring, incident triage, backend production issues, cloud resource management, and back-office support for field operations teams.
- Improve and automate processes within engineering operations.
- Manage and evolve cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Build new infrastructure with a focus on simplicity and maintainability.
- Contribute across the full stack as needed, including debugging front-end issues and supporting releases.
- Proactively communicate with cross-functional stakeholders, explaining technical concepts and tradeoffs.
Requirements
- Depth of understanding in cloud infrastructure over specific stack familiarity.
- Experience with AI agentic software development (LLM integration, MCP, tool-use).
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline management.
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
- Full-stack capability to contribute across the entire technology stack.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are non-negotiable.
