About the Role
Warwick San Francisco is seeking an experienced and results-driven Bartender for Bota Restaurant, The European – cocktail bar. This role involves creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional drink preparation and service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare drinks for customers and servers, ensuring proper materials and supplies are available.
- Prevent service of alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated persons.
- Maintain bar area cleanliness by disposing of waste, cleaning glassware, and wiping down surfaces.
- Conduct opening and closing inventory of spirits.
Requirements
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication.
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must possess basic computational ability.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Must have knowledge of and be able to operate all equipment related to the outlet.
- Must have a strong knowledge of drink preparation and applicable health standards.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations regarding serving alcohol.
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours.
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
- May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift 40 pounds on a regular and continuing basis and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
- Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Cellphones are strictly prohibited during working hours.
- Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
- Must wear non-slip shoes for safety.
