About the Role
Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI, delivering massive amounts of compute faster than anyone else. We are seeking individuals who care deeply about this mission and want to contribute to a company that prioritizes speed, scale, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design of Fluidstack's integrated MV/LV electrical skids and UPS E-House product lines, from one-lines and base frames to released-for-production drawing packages.
- Drive both products into production running design, compliance, and factory readiness.
- Lead a dedicated team covering electrical, structural, HVAC, and fire protection engineers, backed by assigned drafting and compliance staff.
- Work with localization teams to define required design upgrades and particularities.
- Work with third-party authorized vendors to deliver a consistent product across Fluidstack’s data center fleet.
Requirements
- Taken packaged electrical equipment (skids, E-Houses, PDCs, or integrated power assemblies) from concept through production release as the single accountable engineer.
- Owned designs spanning electrical, structural, and mechanical disciplines, making cross-discipline tradeoffs.
- Designed to UL 891 or UL 1558 assembly requirements and NFPA fire protection standards.
- Made ship-or-hold calls on units based on witnessed test results.
- Led a design team of ten or more through a compressed release schedule without compromising quality.
- Written specifications and drawing packages precise enough for accurate manufacturing on the first pass.
