About the Role

Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa is seeking a Massage Therapist to join their spa therapy team. This role involves providing high-quality treatments to help guests achieve balance and harmony, while maintaining a professional and sanitary work environment. The position offers an opportunity to grow within a respected hospitality company.

Responsibilities

Provide the highest standard of treatment, creating a sensory journey for guests to rest, relax, and regain balance.
Set up treatment rooms according to procedures and dispose of laundry promptly.
Maintain sanitation of work area and equipment as per state board guidelines.
Ensure professional stock is used in compliance with PAR levels to reduce product waste.
Begin and end treatments on time and follow all treatment procedures.
Encourage upgrades and achieve a minimum of 10% in retail sales per day/week/month.

Requirements

On-call associates must work a minimum of 2 shifts per month to maintain employment.
Minimum 3 years of experience in massage therapy, preferably in an upscale salon or spa.
Proficient skills in traditional and modern forms of massage.
Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly in English with guests, management, and co-workers.
Ability to maintain compliance with State Board sanitation/sterilization procedures.
Responsible and dependable with the ability to fulfill on-call scheduling needs.
Commitment to exceeding customer expectations with strong attention to client needs.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage back-to-back appointments in a high-volume environment.
Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds with frequent bending, reaching overhead, and twisting.
Able to stand and/or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift, requiring repetitive motion with consistent use of hands and arms.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including being on call for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
