The Coordinator, Maintenance Planning will assist in the daily planning of maintenance for Porter Airlines Aircraft.

Perform daily maintenance planning, including short-term forecasting for all aircraft maintenance tasks.
Create work packages for all of Porter's overnight and daytime maintenance bases.
Coordinate with inventory control to ensure parts and equipment availability for planned work.
Conduct long-range planning for major components.
Review completed overnight tasks and Non-Planned Cards, resolving any issues.
Communicate with the Operational Planning Team, MOC, and SOCC to ensure aircraft availability.
Liaise with other Technical Operations departments regarding planning decisions and requests.
Collaborate with the Heavy Maintenance Planning team to ensure work completion.
Work with the Engineering team to manage the issuance and completion of fleet modifications.
Partner with the Reliability team to issue recommended tasks and communicate task completion.
Assist in entering completed maintenance tasks, including component changes.
File and store all technical records, such as Journey log pages and task cards.
Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS), reporting hazards and incidents.
Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Experience working within an Aircraft planning department is required.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to adapt to changing situations.
Ability to make decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
Display a sound understanding of aircraft documentation, technical records, and aircraft scheduling.
Must be able to obtain and hold all required security clearances.
