About the Role
The Marketing Manager leads the Bank's marketing efforts to promote its culture, products, services, and brand, ensuring a positive customer experience across multiple channels. This role involves overseeing a team of marketing professionals, providing direction and support for marketing initiatives, and building cross-organizational relationships to maintain brand integrity. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, creative, and adept at managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, multi-location environment, fostering collaboration and professional growth within a high-performing team. The Marketing Manager ensures marketing activities align with business objectives, enhance customer engagement, and contribute to the Bank's success.
Responsibilities
- Coach, mentor and lead a multi-unit team.
- Establish priorities, assign work, and monitor project completion.
- Conduct coaching, performance reviews, and career development discussions.
- Manage workload allocation and vendor utilization.
- Ensure department service levels are meeting business partner expectations.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for social, digital, and media marketing, along with other special events and public relations.
- Assist with department budget planning and monitoring.
- Manage campaign and promotional budgets relating to marketing initiatives.
- Implement marketing strategies including campaigns, social media, events, digital marketing and PR campaigns tied to achieve overall goals of the strategy and annual budget management.
- Manage relationships with agencies, consultants, vendors, and community partners.
- Maintain consistent brand standards across all channels and locations.
- Review and approve marketing collateral, advertisements, signage, presentations, and community sponsorship materials.
- Measure the ROI on approved marketing campaigns and various advertising methods to evaluate overall performance.
- Report on lead generation and make recommendations on improvements or changes.
- Serve as the lead for the Marketing Committee preparation report and facilitate the meeting.
- Comply and ensure compliance with privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protection.
- Comply and ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures.
- Timely complete and pass all required regulatory compliance training as assigned, along with other department leader expectations.
- Perform any additional duties and tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
- Working experience in the banking industry.
- Position requires travel- up to 40%, sometimes overnight trips will be required.
- Excellent analytical skills, including utilization of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.
- In-depth knowledge of various marketing platforms in both digital and print medias.
- Ability to remain professional and composed, including in high-pressure situations; display a sense of urgency as needed to ensure requests are completed timely and within service level agreements.
- Ability to apply strategic planning and problem solving techniques to complex issues and changing variables.
- Demonstrate self-motivation; productive, efficient, organized, accurate work output while working independently and within a team environment.
- Lead by example by consistently delivering dependable coaching, mentoring and leadership qualities to company staff and direct reports.
- Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators.
- Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary.
- Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management.
- Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
- Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
