About the Role
As a client-facing data analyst on our National Security team, you’ll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You will provide a deep understanding of their data, advise your client on what the information means, and how it can be used to make an impact on their workforce. Work with us to drive large-scale business and process decisions through data insights.
Responsibilities
- Use data analytics expertise to support client and stakeholder relationships.
- Research, develop, and test data methodologies and generate cross-functional solutions of large data sets.
- Contribute to impactful work and guide decision-making across multiple organizations.
- Apply skills and data analytics expertise by simplifying technical requirements and trends, based on audience.
- Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using knowledge of databases, scripting languages such as Python, R, SQL, or Tableau, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes.
- Apply data visualization through different formats such as graphs, tables, or PowerPoint slides.
- Grow communication and technical skills by creating data-centric solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience working in data analysis
- Experience with Python, including building user interfaces
- Experience with mathematics and statistics, including probability, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing to create and validate data models
- Experience with data wrangling and preprocessing, including techniques to clean, organize, and transform raw data into usable formats using tools such as Pandas and ETL processes
- Experience with data visualization, including Tableau and Matplotlib to create compelling visual representations of data
- Experience with protected data such as PII and use of ethical AI practices
- Knowledge of the military and Intelligence Community
- Ability to present findings effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
