About the Role

The Banquet Bartender is responsible for delivering excellence in guest service by developing relationships with guests, providing personalized service, and anticipating and fulfilling guest needs. This role involves comprehending cocktail/beverage menus, preparing drinks as requested, and serving them to guests directly or via service staff.

Responsibilities

Maintain knowledge of a variety of alcoholic beverages and all food and beverage menu items.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation standards, hotel standards, and local laws.
Maintain high-quality bar setups, service, and food and beverage quality and presentation.
Verify identification for proof of age when required.
Respond to guest requests accurately and promptly, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
Ensure prompt delivery and quality control from point of departure to arrival.
Perform accurate POS procedures and cash/credit handling according to hotel policies.
Attend all required department trainings and meetings.

Requirements

Hands-on food and beverage knowledge and comprehensive, working knowledge of the hospitality business.
Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage garnishes, and overall beverage service, including liquor, beer, and wine.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed during busy times and high-profile events.
Highly developed customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor and strong problem-solving abilities.
Keen eye for detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Serve Safe certified.
Unexpired TIPs required.
