About the Role

As a Senior Client Program Manager, you will orchestrate strategic client relationships, leading large-scale transformations such as cloud migrations, pension system modernizations, and health & welfare platform rollouts. You will partner with executive stakeholders, drive effective governance, and translate complex technical work into measurable business outcomes, shaping how organizations deliver benefits to their employees.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of complex Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, and Health & Welfare programs.
  • Manage multiple workstreams, coordinate across Product, Development, Configuration, Data, QA, and Operations.
  • Manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and forecast financial performance.
  • Serve as the senior delivery voice for key clients and build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders.
  • Lead steering committees and strategic client conversations.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for modernization, improvement, and value creation.
  • Establish governance frameworks that accelerate delivery.
  • Set up effective escalation paths and deliver clear, data-driven executive reporting.
  • Ensure program health, risks, and financial impacts are visible and actionable.
  • Influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Foster collaboration and create accountability across diverse teams.
  • Champion innovative delivery practices, including automation and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Contribute to PMO evolution by sharing lessons learned and developing best practices.
  • Champion modern delivery methodologies and tools.

Requirements

  • 10+ years managing complex, client-facing programs (software implementations, business transformations, or large-scale delivery initiatives).
  • Background in Benefits or Pension delivery, SaaS platforms, enterprise software implementation, or related complex environments.
  • PMP certification (non-negotiable).
  • Proven success delivering large, multi-workstream programs with real business impact.
  • Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, change control, risk management.
  • Executive presence: ability to speak confidently with senior leaders and negotiate across boundaries.
  • Mastery of delivery tools: MS Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
  • Degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • Thrive in client-facing environments and enjoy stakeholder management.
  • Balance strategic thinking with disciplined execution.
  • Influence teams across a matrixed organization and drive results without direct authority.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and driven to create clarity and alignment.
  • View yourself as a trusted advisor.
