About the Role
The Manager, US Ecommerce Planning will be a trusted partner supporting brand/category and channel strategies. This role requires financial experience in the retail market to inform retail buy plans and achieve continued growth. You will identify business issues, analyze opportunities and risks, promote process consistency, and guide best practices within the Direct-to-Consumer team.
Responsibilities
- Help build and track against channel financial plans, covering all sales KPIs and understanding how each is driven.
- Balance channel, brand, and business needs.
- Develop financial forecasts in-season and lead regular financial conversations with diverse business partners.
- Create narratives and articulate risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with merchants to develop consumer and category segment productivity targets within an assortment architecture.
- Build and present bottom-up sales and inventory plans, reconciling against top-down financial plans.
- Align with business partners to guide in-season tactical activities for seasonal strategies, including promotional strategies and markdown management.
- Work with allocation partners to ensure optimal in-season allocation, replenishment, consumption, and receipt flow.
- Manage in-season profitability to achieve or exceed goals.
- Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements.
- Take ownership of additional projects supporting channel and company plans.
- Lead projects across all DTC and work across the channel matrix to ensure inventory profitability for all.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of college education and related work experience.
- 7+ years of planning experience with a global omni-channel brand.
- Understanding of retail math, merchandising financials, and profitability KPIs.
- Advanced Excel skills (able to perform complex functions).
- Experience with SAS merchandise planning is an asset.
