Responsibilities
- Coordinate international import/export shipment schedules with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively manage delays, damages, and other operational issues, including implementing corrective actions.
- Support on-site logistics operations including gate control coordination, escort arrangements, and weekend or urgent issue handling.
- Prepare and review shipping documents and logistics reports with accuracy and compliance.
- Support freight cost estimation, quotation review, invoice verification, and settlement processes.
- Maintain professional communication with internal teams and external stakeholders in English and Korean.
Requirements
- Minimum: College diploma or higher.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding preferred.
- Solid understanding of import/export processes and shipment coordination.
- Working proficiency in Korean and English is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Strong communication skills, particularly in professional email correspondence.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond appropriately to urgent situations.
- Experience with freight forwarding companies or international logistics operations is an asset.
- Experience with customs clearance or cross-border shipping coordination is an asset.
- Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
