About the Role

Events and Ministry Coordinators create and provide an excellent Apartment Life (AL) experience to residents and staff in an apartment community. Coordinators are passionate about the vision and mission of AL, planning excellent events, providing exceptional personal communication, and offering genuine care and hospitality to impact the community and residents' lives. We seek mission-minded, relational, and responsible individuals who enjoy meeting new people, planning activities, and helping others experience God's unconditional love. Coordinators engage in 'business as a ministry' by combining business excellence with neighborly love.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and host 2 events each month for residents to foster care, connection, and community engagement.
  • Provide a caring touch to residents and staff with support from residents and community networks.
  • Enhance online reputation by inviting residents to share their community experiences.
  • Develop marketing materials for activities, including monthly calendars, event flyers, and social media posts.
  • Manage the event budget process.
  • Prepare monthly summaries.
  • Meet with staff and program director for planning, equipping, and development.
  • Engage a support team of volunteers, vendors, and community partners to maximize impact.
  • Visit new residents and those nearing the end of their lease to build connections.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Basic English fluency for marketing and reporting.
  • Current driver's license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Physically able to perform job duties including lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability for weekly hours, primarily evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to commit to the minimum term for serving in the apartment community.
