About the Role
As an Associate Creative Director, you will lead the creative team in developing impactful and strategic healthcare campaigns. You will combine creative vision with an understanding of healthcare nuances to deliver compelling and compliant campaigns, collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creative team to develop impactful and strategic campaigns.
- Combine creative vision with an understanding of healthcare nuances.
- Deliver compelling and compliant campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Creative Directors, Copywriters, Designers, Strategists, Account Managers, and clients.
- Approach every brief with fresh eyes.
- Create and inspire work that is superior across all channels, distinctive, and famously effective.
- Set creative direction and offer hands-on guidance throughout client team projects.
- Display a cohesive understanding of brand requirements and key market factors.
- Execute copy at the highest level.
- Help team members bring forward their best work, on-time and on-brief.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of each client’s brand and the healthcare industry.
- Take a lead role in the briefing, concepting, copy development, and execution of cross-channel initiatives.
- Ensure creative work meets industry-specific compliance standards while remaining compelling.
- Inspire copy and creative direction while providing hands-on support to the creative team.
- Maintain an advisory role throughout all projects.
- Display highly advanced writing skills in the healthcare space.
- Effectively present a point of view, using logic, facts, and crafting a compelling storyline.
- Research and develop new tone-of-voice guidelines for brands.
- Write comprehensive guidelines.
- Collaborate with Strategy and Account teams to ensure briefs are clear, insightful, and inspire great creative development.
- Immerse yourself into the brand strategy and carry it through to the work.
- Participate and/or lead client meetings/presentations.
- Develop client relationships.
- Steward excellent work to market.
Requirements
- At least 7+ years of industry experience in a well-established, creative role with a proven track record.
- Agency experience working across all channels.
- Strong creative portfolio highlighting relevant/category experience, particularly in healthcare and pharma advertising.
- Solid verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to all levels of clients.
- Experience managing a creative team, including both copywriters and art directors.
