About the Role
This role involves embedding with client teams to understand and transform messy real-world processes into production-ready agentic AI workflows. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical implementation, translating needs and constraints in both directions. The role requires a balance of discovery, facilitation, and hands-on engineering to ship functional workflows.
Responsibilities
- Embed with client teams to understand and map business processes.
- Break down complex business processes into agentic workflows.
- Build production-grade agentic workflows using frameworks like LangGraph and LangChain.
- Build integrations to client data and operational systems.
- Enable core platform capabilities for engagements.
- Design evaluation and guardrails for workflow trustworthiness.
- Run working sessions and demos with business stakeholders.
- Document and hand over built workflows for client operation and extension.
- Bring successful patterns back to Blue Orange Digital for reuse.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience building production systems.
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs, including agent or multi-step workflows beyond the prototype stage.
- Strong integration skills with real systems via APIs, webhooks, SDKs, and databases.
- Proficiency in Python, including async patterns, API design, and data pipeline reliability.
- Working knowledge of SQL and data systems.
- Client-facing or cross-functional skills to engage with non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A bias toward shipping working solutions.
- Production experience with agent frameworks (LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI) or custom orchestration.
- Experience with RAG systems, including chunking, embeddings, vector stores, and re-ranking.
