About the Role
Join our Technical Operations team as an aircraft maintenance leader, ensuring our fleet is safe, compliant, and ready for service. You will supervise and coordinate all maintenance functions on shift, driving productivity and upholding safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all maintenance functions on shift at the assigned location(s) in a safe manner, adhering to schedule requirements and company, regulatory, and manufacturer procedures.
- Assign aircraft maintenance technicians and related personnel to maximize productivity and cost control.
- Ensure the team has appropriate resources and hold them accountable for assigned work.
- Oversee safety and security of aircraft and maintenance operations for regulatory compliance.
- Provide leadership and direction to the on-shift labor workforce to maximize productivity and output.
- Build and reinforce a fair and respectful work environment.
- Execute station performance goals and objectives.
- Maintain a high level of awareness of operational, safety, and human resource performance objectives.
- Maintain a high level of communication with all employee groups within the station.
- Report status of operations, highlighting significant events to leadership and providing direction to achieve station and divisional objectives.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, or equivalent / FAA A&P Certificate
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations and applicable FAA regulations
- Must be legally authorized to work in Australia for any employer without sponsorship
- Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
- Strong background & technical knowledge on fleet types operated and maintenance programs
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations and applicable FAA regulations
