About the Role
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Branch Manager to take full responsibility for a high-performing branch, build and lead a success-driven team, and grow their career into multi-unit or sales leadership. The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the rental center business unit, including Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Maintenance, and Logistics, and achievement of financial and performance goals. The role also manages the unit's operational and financial reporting functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of branch operations: Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Maintenance, Logistics
- Drive financial performance and operational excellence
- Manage P&L and reporting functions
- Coach and develop your team for success
Requirements
- Business Management degree + 1 year rental industry experience OR 3–4 years rental industry experience
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
Skills
- Strong leadership and communication
- Understanding of P&L and financial controls
- Sales experience with negotiation and influencing skills
- Knowledge of construction or industrial markets
- High accountability and time management
