About the Role
The Fitness Factory Group LLC is looking for a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team in New York, NY. This role is vital in maintaining a safe, spotless, and welcoming environment for members and staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of gym floors, equipment, locker rooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub all facility surfaces to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and cleaning products.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly and regularly.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management.
- Follow proper sanitation protocols and use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
- Ensure restrooms and locker rooms are cleaned and inspected frequently throughout shifts.
Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial, or facility maintenance strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for cleanliness.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
