About the Role

As AVP, Agency & SI Partnerships, you will own Braze’s global partnership with agencies and systems integrators. You will set the global strategy for building and investing in these partnerships, define the practice-development and certification model, and ensure the health of strategic agency and SI relationships worldwide. This role is crucial for extending Braze's reach, deepening customer relationships, and driving outcomes through our partner ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the hiring and global expansion of a team responsible for Braze’s platinum-tier relationships with global agency and SI partners.
  • Expand the team's presence beyond North America to build dedicated teams in EMEA and APAC.
  • Mature the enablement, training, and certification model to ensure partners can effectively implement and run Braze.
  • Partner closely with Partner Services leadership to align Partner-Led Delivery with agency and SI strategy.
  • Co-build packaged solutions and joint go-to-market strategies with Technology & Marketplace and platinum-tier agency/SI partners.
  • Establish global SI and agency strategy and partnership standards for regional execution.
  • Serve as the escalation point and relationship owner for platinum-tier engagements globally.
  • Leverage shared infrastructure from the Partner Experience team for strategy, program management, and instrumentation.
  • Utilize Salesforce, Crossbeam, Clari, and Looker to track partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, implementation quality, and retention outcomes.
  • Report on performance to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 15+ years in partner sales, alliances, or consulting/SI ecosystem roles in B2B SaaS.
  • At least 7-8 years at Senior Director or AVP level, with experience owning a global partner-influenced revenue number.
  • Deep experience managing relationships with global SIs and agency holding companies at the executive sponsor level.
  • Proven track record building or scaling a partner certification, enablement, or practice-development program.
  • Comfortable operating as a global function and leading through influence with peer AVPs in AMER, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Track record co-developing packaged solutions or joint IP with technology and agency/SI partners.
  • Comfortable using account mapping tools such as Crossbeam or equivalent.
  • Experience creating operating models, certification programs, and playbooks from scratch.

Salary/Compensations

  • For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $155,000 and $244,000/year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $259,000 and $407,000/year (including bonus or commission).
