About the Role
Monitors, inspects, and completes tasks for Water Restoration jobs, ensuring completion of drying, demolition, and various restoration activities. Prepares and reviews documentation for insurance reimbursement and explains processes to customers.
Responsibilities
- Retrieves work orders, checks route, and ensures appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded for the job.
- Explains job processes and next steps to customers in person.
- Completes assigned jobs according to company processes while maintaining quality control.
- Performs water damage repair, including extraction, content pack-out, demolition, and light construction.
- Ensures proper handling of equipment, supplies, and vehicles, reporting any malfunctions.
- Inspects completed jobs, obtains customer signatures, and requests payments when necessary.
- Performs daily monitoring and tasks on assigned water jobs for residential and commercial customers.
- Makes daily adjustments to the drying plan based on meter readings.
- Resolves customer issues and communicates job activities with supervisors and key staff.
- Prepares documentation and pictures according to company policies for insurance reimbursement.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good customer service skills.
- Experience with using mobile software to enter data.
- Ability to read and follow product label usage instructions.
- Reports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform.
- Ability to prioritize activities and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to move up to 70 pounds often.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, requiring lifting, squatting, crawling, and crouching.
- Must be able to express or exchange ideas quickly and act on detailed information.
- Respirators must be able to seal to the face for safety.
- Must have visual acuity for detail-oriented activities.
- Exposure to various inside and outside working conditions, including environments with or without air conditioning and heating.

Location
- Local travel required
- Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected
Work Type

- Frequently requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day)

Experience Level
- Experience in the restoration or construction industry preferred

Education Level
- High school graduate or equivalent
- WTR – Water Damage Restoration Technician certification preferred
- ASD – Applied Structural Drying Technician certification preferred
