About the Role
As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for managing financial background information on customers, developing credit studies, and maintaining financial records. This role supports the Credit Administration team in analyzing credit and collateral to assess lending risk, ensuring Bank compliance, and resolving client issues.
Responsibilities
- Spread, manage, and maintain financial background information on present and prospective customers.
- Develop credit studies for Loan Officers, Chief Credit Officer, and Executive Management.
- Manage spread assignments, conduct financial analyses, and maintain related records and files.
- Prepare credit department reports.
- Analyze credit and collateral information to determine lending risk.
- Collect, organize, and analyze company financials to ensure Bank compliance.
- Update the Bank’s systems accordingly.
- Work directly with clients to resolve compliance issues and operational inquiries.
- Review client financials and perform sensitivity analysis to evaluate credit risk.
- Prepare in-depth reports with action plans based on research.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to execute treasury management products, foreign exchange instruments, derivatives, and legal documents.
- Produce loan packages for new and restructured loans.
- Facilitate reporting and requests with third parties.
- Monitor loan disbursements to ensure compliance with Bank regulations.
Requirements
- Completion of an Accounting course.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- An interest in working in Commercial Banking.
- Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
